This is hilarious. In the Sunday edition, the DM Register reports:
"PANTHERS LOSE RECRUIT: So Northern Iowa has a big Missouri Valley Conference tournament run, takes Georgia Tech to the wire in the NCAA Tournament . . . and what happens?
Everette Pedescleaux, who committed to Northern Iowa to play basketball, has changed his mind. The 6-foot 7-inch forward from Robbinsdale, Minn., has decided he'll play football and basketball for Minnesota. He's one of five finalists for Minnesota's Mr. Basketball Award, to be announced April 25. Eric Coleman from Tartan High School in Oakdale, Minn., another Northern Iowa recruit, is also one of the finalists."
I guess they didn't realize this happened a little over five months ago. Anyway, thanks for the pub Register!
