  • Ali / Koch stat update!

I'm bored and thought I'd throw out the stat lines for these two so far this year. Looks like Ali is getting a lot of playing time and shooting pretty well, while Adam isn't playing so much. I hope these numbers don't get all jumbled when I post this.

Just because I have no idea...

Which one of the two is playing in the "better" league?

Wondering if Ali got hurt/was sick in the last game he played. He played less than 20 minutes and only scored 1 point, and he is the teams leading scorer by 8 ppg. Still averaging 21.5 ppg despite that. Also I'll mention that the league he's playing in goes by rounds, and he was named the MVP of a round just a couple weeks ago.

Oh yea, and Ali's mom took the volleyball coaching job at UNLV.

By hitting a 25-foot 3-pointer to bury UNLV in the first round of the NCAA tournament last March earned Northern Iowa senior guard Ali Farokhmanesh villain status in Rebels lore. Now, the graduated gunner's family will have a more concrete tie with UNLV.
