    Re: Jevon Lyle

Some video on Jevon Lyle. He's the one who gets the alley-oop.
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

        Chris Monter reports

"Jevon Lyle, a 6-foot-2 guard from Kansas City (MO) Archbishop O'Hara, committed to Northern Iowa last September. He told WestCoastHoopsReport.com that it is easier to get his friends behind his decision to commit to the Panthers after their strong run in the NCAA Tournament. "

Not much on Jevon Lyle via the newspapers, but here is something:

Jackson led O’Hara with 16 points, while Lyle added 14 and senior Josh Rupprecht chipped in a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Love the O'Hara squad.Great balance and go-to scorers. DJ Jackson with 28, Jevon Lyle with 17 and Josh Rupprecht with 15 in win over Clinton

Coach Jake doesn't seem to mess with low character guys. No idea on what he did though. Hope he was just late for practice.

not a good way to impress people. Me especially. Even though my opinion of players really doesn't matter to anyone else.

Luke was called a legend by Mad Mac during the Creighton game (I really can't stand the man, but it was one thing that came out of his mouth that kind of made sense). This is a High School Senior, and Luke I really only had one incident and Jake did a little preventative maintenance with Luke a few other times.

He had sexual relations with his girlfriend and was subsequently suspended. (cough)

Interesting how there is not much news on this. Can UNI rescind a ship from a player already signed because of a legal issue? Just curious - someone had to ask.

How highly regarded of a recruit is Lyle? Seems like he is the least touted of the incoming class...
