The Indoor season kicked off today. One National qualifier, and it wasn't a usual suspect. Sophomore Travis Leuer jumped over 7 feet in the high jump to get the provisional.

2010 Track
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.Tags: None

Re: 2010 Track
Sam Kranz and Stephan Dak were MVC track athletes of the week. Kranz cleared 17 feet 1 1/2 inches in the Pole Vault. Dak won the 3000 meters and holds the best time in the valley by about 10 seconds.

Looking at the Roster, there seems to be a few transfers of note. Andrew Perkins isn't listed, he was a Freshman last year and was one of the top 800m runners coming in. He finished 3rd I believe in the 800m outdoor, and 5th in the mile indoor in the MVC championships. Also, Tyler Dodd was probably a point getter in the Multi-events and is not listed, Jurkowski was the most consitant hurdler and is also not there. There were a few others, but none that will hurt the team much in the MVC. Airreo Greer was a good 400m and also a football player, he is not listed, which is weird because it sounded like he wanted to do both, hopefully he is still on the football team. Haven't really looked at the women's team yet.
