Have you guys found an RV yet? What road trips would you make this year if you were able to get one?
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice, clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Fire goes before Him, and consumes his foes on every side; His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles; the mountains melt like wax before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all peoples will see His glory.

No such luck yet. Roadtrips this year with or without the RV/Party Bus are Drake, Iowa State, and Southern Illinois. Alleycat is trying to convince me to go to the Youngstown State game....as he has some classes in Cleveland on that following Monday. Plus as a bonus...(for him, not me) the Broncos and Browns are playing on Sunday.

Alleycat, UNIFITE and I will continue to improve the Tailgate Atmosphere at all home games as much as possible. UNIFite found out that the UNI WINS RV will fit in the Gold Lot right next to our spot....so that will now be a permanent fixture for our tailgate area!! We may even be able to provide some great music from all the Hair Bands of the 80's...Motley Crue, Poison, Cinderella, RATT...and the list goes on!!

We are keeping our eyes open for RV's/Buses for sale. JC is right, the Broncos play the Browns the Sunday after the UNI game at 4pm. JC did find some flights out to Cleveland for under $200 last week. If I am able to get into a training class for work, I do plan on making the trip to YSU. If anyone knows of somebody selling a RV/Tailgate Bus on a UNI grads salary please PM me or JC. A PN logo would look neat on a bus!!!!

              Last post in this thread:

              http://www.panthernation.com/showthread.php?t=4387

I tried it and the link still works, which surprised me because thread on HR is almost 2 weeks old and they don't usually stay on there that long.

His asking price seems high to me, but then I haven't priced any old buses in quite a while.

Tailgating at UNI is going to a new level this year. Make your plans now to join us on Saturdays this fall to get pumped for Panther Football on our way to the Gateway Championship, playoffs and National Title. The UNI shrine will parked and open for business to host the Panther faithful far and near. Get your tailgating gear early and we'll see you in the Athletic Club lot on September 9th.
"This program is the most important thing. It was here before we were here, and it will be here after we leave. Right now, we represent this program and this university. We represent the community, we represent the state, and we will do everything that we can to put UNI football at the level we're proud of and always have been at this university. When I'm talking about this program, I'm talking about alumni. This place is important to them, just as it is to me." - Mark Farley, Football Coach

Alleycat, I heard that you can save a bundle by insuring with Geico!

Hurry up and get the panther prowler so we can tailgate in style, especially at ISU...

                          Hilarious Union!

I don't think Alleycat will appreciate that Geico comment though!

Cap'n Cat owns a 1973 Dodge Superior Motorhome, which he will be refurbishing this summer for fall UNI games. Bought it from a friend and former coworker in Delta, IA. Was owned before him by an old, chain-smoking lesbian kleptomaniac former coworker of ours who died behind the wheel of the motorhome. Just passed out at an intersection and died. Heart attack.

Anyway, it's 25 ft and everything works - air, fridge, potty, shower (though don't try to fit me and oldcat in the shower at once!). It needs a paint job really badly and it has that 1973 four-inch long (I exaggerate) yellow/green shag carpet all over it.

The only other issue, as I told oldcat in an e-mail is that it is a MAJOR gas-guzzler. It has an old Dodge 440 ci engine that sucks it down. I think it only gets 5 mph, or at least that's what the previous owner told me! Will have to get a second mortgage to fill the gas tanks. I'll be looking to leave it down near UNI, perhaps. Would look good in oldcat's driveway.

Looks like this, kinda, only sh*ttier:
